Let’s be real – after a long week of work, there’s nothing better than grabbing drinks with friends. Living in Euless means we’re stuck between Dallas and Fort Worth, but that doesn’t mean our bar scene is lacking. Actually, Euless has some killer spots that deserve way more attention than they get. I hit up the local scene last weekend and wanted to share my finds for anyone looking to spice up their weekend plans.
1. Bronson Rock Burgers & Beer
If you haven’t been to Bronson Rock yet, what are you even doing with your weekends? This place has become THE spot for locals who want good beer, live music, and a chill atmosphere. Their patio is perfect when the weather’s decent, which is like… half the year in Texas, right?
I showed up on Friday around 8, and the place was buzzing but not crazy packed, where you can’t move. The bartenders are quick even when it’s busy, and they don’t water down the drinks (looking at you, certain places in downtown Fort Worth). They’ve got this burger with jalapeños and bacon that hits different after a couple of beers.
Live bands play most weekends, and they’re usually local talent that actually sound good. Not that amateur hour stuff you get at some places. The crowd is pretty mixed – some older folks earlier in the evening, a younger crowd comes in later.
2. Office on Trinity
The Office on Trinity is giving serious contender vibes lately. It’s got this neighborhood bar feel but with better drinks than you’d expect. The place is set up with smart–bar games in one section, quieter spots to talk in another, and a decent-sized bar area that doesn’t make you feel like sardines even on busy nights.
They’ve got this happy hour on Thursdays that’ll change your life – half-price wells and $3 domestics. The food menu isn’t huge, but what they do, they do right. Their wings are actually meaty (not those sad little things some places try to pass off), and the sauce options are legit.
What makes Office special is the staff. They remember your name and drink after like two visits. My buddy Mark walked in last time, and the bartender was already pouring his usual before he sat down. That’s the kind of service that keeps people coming back.
3. TK’s Bar & Grill
TK’s might not look like much from the outside (it’s in that strip mall by the grocery store), but trust me, this place brings it. It’s the definition of a Sports Bar Euless locals flock to when there’s a big game. They’ve got screens everywhere, so you won’t miss a play no matter where you’re sitting.
The drink selection is solid – a good mix of local beers and the usual suspects. Their Moscow Mule is surprisingly good (not too sweet, decent kick). What really sets TK’s apart is the food. Bar food is usually an afterthought, but they’re serving stuff I’d actually go there for even if I wasn’t drinking. The loaded tots are basically a meal, and they make this chicken sandwich that puts Popeyes to shame.
Sundays during football season are insane here. Get there early or you’ll be standing. The energy when the Cowboys are playing is electric – even if they’re disappointing us for the millionth time.
4. The Tavern at Central Park
This newer spot is quickly climbing my list of favorites. It’s got a more upscale vibe than most places around here, but without being pretentious. The interior is all dark wood and leather booths – the kind of place you could bring a date and not feel like you’re slumming it.
Their cocktail game is next level for Euless. The bartenders actually know what they’re doing – not just pouring liquor into glasses. I had something with bourbon and smoked rosemary that I’m still thinking about. They’ve got this happy hour deal where you can get small plates half off with any drink purchase.
It’s becoming the Friday after-work spot for a lot of the office crowds. Gets busy around 6, but in a good way. The music is at a volume where you can actually have a conversation without screaming.
5. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
I know, I know – it’s a chain. But hear me out. Lazy Dog earns its spot on this list by consistently delivering good vibes. Their patio is one of the best in the area – fire pits, comfortable seating, and they even allow dogs (hence the name).
The drink menu is massive – beer flights, seasonal cocktails, and a decent wine selection. They make this spiked apple cider in the fall that’s dangerously good. Food-wise, they’ve got something for everyone, which makes it perfect for groups where some people are picky.
Weekend brunch here is getting popular, and for good reason. Their Bloody Mary bar lets you customize with all kinds of ridiculous toppings. I saw someone put an entire slider on theirs last time.
The Bottom Line
Euless might not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking about the best bars in Texas, but our little corner has some gems worth checking out. The bar scene here has seriously stepped up in the last couple of years.
Whether you’re looking for somewhere to watch the game, grab drinks after work, or meet up with friends on the weekend, these spots have you covered. The best part is you don’t have to deal with downtown parking or Dallas prices.
